The
DT-513C hydrophone is a wide band, omni-directional
hydrophone (horizontal X-Y plane) with a frequency
range of 64 Hz to 50 kHz. It is used widely on naval
surface ships and submarines. The unit has an integrated preamplifier with a 20 dB gain. The DT-513C is supplied with an eight-foot pigtail cable assembly with a Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) connector. For extended shipboard runs, an FSS-2 extension cable is available in standard lengths of 150 or 250 feet, and supplied with a mating connector. The DT-513C meets the shipboard vibration requirements of MIL-STD-167 and shock requirements of MIL-S-901. |
