Differential GPS
An optional GPS-receiving module is available if differential GPS is used for windfinding. The groundstation can also be connected to a radar system. |
The hardware of the GK-90C consists of a (mobile) industrial PC with integrated plug-in cards for PLL-receiver, signal processor and differential GPS module (optional). In special applications with good environmental conditions, a standard office PC can be used for cost-saving reasons. The PLL radio-receiver is connected to a standard or helix antenna.
Mobile System
Being a compact and light-weight system, the GK-90C is suitable also as a mobile station. The GK-90C has been tested under all kinds of environmental conditions, in the Arctic as well as in deserts.
